Lasetias main duty for foreign relations is to maintain peaceful multilateral relations in the micronationalcommunity. Lasetia has secondarily committed itself to pushing sectors of the community to increased levels of development, and to contribute the local micronational community and worldwide micronationalism in general. The Ministry of Foreign Relations has the duty and is obligated to maintain and establish new Relations between other Micronations and seeking in a long time goal to gain recognition in the Micronational Community and prevent the State of Lasetia from a war if the President of Lasetia or the National Council of Lasetia do not change the political ideology. Lasetia has established diplomatic relations in the form of formal and informal . The Republic of Aurora was the first nation to recognize Lasetia, upon request of the Lasetian President to sign a treaty of mutual recognition. There are actually 2 Micronations recognizing the Lasetia in the micronational Community

Foreign Policies

Lasetia recognize states with these following demands:

  • Nations, claiming territory on Earth
  • Nations, whom have a population and at least a part lives in the claimed territory
  • Nations, which follow the Montevideo Convention
  • Micronations, which are willing to recognize The State of Lasetia back or having contact with the President
  • Micronations, which aren´t threatening Lasetia with war or destruction (If this case happens the Lasetian National Army will interfere)

Conventions of the UN

Lasetia has the long-time goal to be recognized from the UN. Thus the Government of Lasetia agrees, to the Geneva Conventions, the UN Charter,the Vienna Conventions, the Outer Space Treaty, the Law of the Sea, the Luna Treaty, the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the Patent Cooperation Treaty, Seabed Arms Control Treaty, Biological Weapons Convention, the Montreal Protocol, the Kyoto Protocol, the Rome Statute, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
