Foreign relations of Ameristralia

Foreign relations of Ameristralia are influenced by its position of a highly developed micronation and as a significant donor of humanitarian aid. Ameristralia's foreign policy is guided by a commitment to multilateralism. Key concerns are environmentalism, humanitarianism, Asia-Pacific stability, and economic cooperation. Ameristralia is active in the Micronational Community of Australia and the Micronationalist Martial Arts Association. Given its history of supporting regional and global initiatives, it is considered a regional power.

Ameristralia is a steadfastly allied with the Empire of Lurdentania and recently has sought to strengthen its ties with other Oceania micronations. In September 2021, Ameristralia signed a significant economic and security treaty, the Citadel Accords, with the State of Norton and the Kingdom of Blazdonia aimed at developing strong ties between the European and Oceanic region.

History

Ameristralia's foreign policy has always focused on building cooperative relationships on the international stage. Ameristralia recognizes the sovereignty of all legally obtained governments. Ameristralia was a leading member of the Alliance of Unified Democratic Independent Micronations, serving on the Executive Council until the organization dissolved on 26 September 2021.

Ameristralia supported the government during the Lurdentanian Civil War of August 2021 by advising the Emperor militarily. Ameristralia and Lurdentania continue strong ties, including offering humanitarian relief to each other during natural disasters and crises.

International agencies, treaties, and agreements

Ameristralia was a member of the now-defunct Alliance of Unified Democratic Independent Micronations and served in the Cabinet role of membership minister.

One of the drafters of the current Micronational Community of Australia Charter, Ameristralia's delegate serves as the organization's Minister of Culture and Initiatives. The delegate is also the Safety Officer; tasked with ensuring integrity and security of the organization by providing the Council analysis on applicant states.

Security and Trade

The Citadel Accords is a mutual economic and security pact signed on 29 August 2021 by Ameristralia and Norton. As of 27 October 2021, Realeza is a signatory.

Foreign missions

Ameristralia maintains consulates in four macronations - Hungary, Switzerland, the United States, and England. Ameristralia maintains embassies in three micronations - State of Norton, Kingdom of Blazdonia and Kingdom of Indradhanush. Ameristralia has official relations with a number of micronations. It maintains contact with a number of micronations where there are no official government ties.

Ameristralia and Lurdentania are ministerial delegates of the Micronational Community of Australia. Ameristralia's Lord Mayor and Lurdentania's Emperor often advise each other regards many civil and military matters.
Indradhanush	2021	Ameristralia and Indardhanush built ties via mutual assistance. Ameristralia maintains a consulate, but has no official Consul General in Indradhanush.
