Foreign relations of New Pulaskia

The diplomatic foreign relations of New Pulaskia are implemented by the President and his Council. The ability to recognize another nation lies with the President, as long as the council approves. The Union is a member of the Second Triple Alliance of Kalossia, Aglezia, and New Pulaskia.

Sovereignty Disputes

The Union has overlapping claims with the United States, the State of Arkansas, and the State of Tennesee. They lay claim to all Pulaskian territory, within Garland Territory, Saline Province, Calhoun Territory, the Autonomous Province of Xaidia, the Unorganized Territory of Tennesee, and the Capital Territory. It has no other claims outside of these.

	Kingdom of Florenia	New Pulaskia has recognized Florenia since its founding (September 2021)
	Hong Kong	New Pulaskia recognizes the independence of Hong Kong from China since founding (September 2021)
	Republic of Kalossia	New Pulaskia has recognized the Republic of Kalossia as a sovereign nation since Kalossian independence (April 2023).

	Northern Cyprus	New Pulaskia does not recognize Northern Cyprus as independent from the Republic of Cyprus.
	Republic of Molossia	New Pulaskia has recognized Molossia as independent from the United States since September 2021
	State of Palestine	New Pulaskia has recognized the independence of the State of Palestine from Israel, and as holding the West Bank and Gaza Strip since founding (September 2021)
	Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic	New Pulaskia has recognized the independence of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic from Morocco since founding (September 2021).
	Principality of Sealand	New Pulaskia has recognized the independence of the Principality of Sealand from the United Kingdom since founding (September 2021)
	Somaliland	New Pulaskia has recognized the independence of Somaliland from Somalia since September 2022.
	South Ossetia	New Pulaskia continues to recognize the independence of South Ossetia from Georgia, despite denouncement of many actions carried out by South Ossetian forces in the Georgian-Ossetian Conflict. Pulaskia has recognized South Ossetia since September 2022.
	Taiwan	New Pulaskia has recognized the independence of Taiwan from China since founding (September 2021) and fully supports Taiwanese efforts to reunite China under democratic ideals.
	Transnistria	New Pulaskia has recognized the independent operation of Transnistria from Moldova since April 2022, but does not support requests to join the Russian Federation or quartering of Russian troops in the country.
	Vatican City	New Pulaskia has recognized the Vatican City as a sovereign nation since founding (April 2021).
	Republic of Xaidia	New Pulaskia has recognized Xaidia as independent from the United States since April 2022.

New Pulaskia does not recognize the Donetsk or Luhansk People’s Republics, nor does it recognize Northern Cyprus. Pulaskia has also recently rescinded recognition of Abkhazia due to the war crimes committed by the Abkhaz forces during the War in Abkhazia. It also gives some recognition to several independence movements across the world.
