In 2021 Scott Morrison was recognized as a leader of a friendly democratic nation in the First Presidents resignation speech in January.

Cuba

The Arstotzkan Union grew its liking of Cuba in 2022. Following increased ideological activities and better introduction of socialist and Arstotzkanist systems in the Arstotzkan Union, the nation expressed great likeness over the island nation of Cuba. In October 2022 the First President stated:

The great Socialist systems that inhabit the Cuban island are of great interest to the development of the Arstotzkan state into a strong socialist and Arstotzkanist state.

In October 2023, the Arstotzkan Federal Government officially created the Nueva Unidad Territory in Cuba, which went on to replace the Severoamerikansky Territory in the United States. A diplomatic mission was soon opened in the territory.

China

The Arstotzkan Union did not recognize the People's Republic of China rather it recognized the PRC territory as PRC Occupied Territory and recognized Republic of China's claims to the mainland as legitimate. This was until 6 February 2023, when the Department of International Affairs and Relations and the First President signed the February 2023 Foreign Policy of the Arstotzkan Union officially for the first time recognizing the People's Republic of China.

This alliance ended nearly as it overturned the relations with the passing of the August 2023 Foreign Policy and once again recognised the Republic of China.

United States

The Arstotzkan Union has never seen the United States in a good light. When the nation was formed in 2019, it held a neutral opinion of the US, however in 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic, relations began to sour and the Arstotzkan Union officially withdrew recognition by June 2020.

Participation in intermicronational organizations

The Arstotzkan Union was a member of the Coalition of United Micronations as well as the Trans-Tauranga Micronational Partnership Agreement. In 2023 the Arstotzkan Union also formed the United Micronations Treaty Alliance to support smaller and developing micronations in the Tauranga Micronational Area. The Arstotzkan Union also has treaties of which are independent of the commitments to the UMTA and AMTO, such as the Treaty of Two-Nations.

Military Aid and Assistance

The Arstotzkan Union has the largest micronational military force in the world. With 375 soldiers enlisted, the First President has made it the duty of the People's Armed Forces of the Arstotzkan Union to aid the Arstotzkan Union's allies. In 2022, the Arstotzkan Union deployed its military force several times, with the most during the Commonwealth - Empire War and the Benereich - Coalition War.

Not only is the offer of military protection to the Arstotzkan Union's allies entrenched in the several codified and uncodified treaties the Arstotzkan Union has entered in but First President Ethan Brinkman enforces it through the Constitution;

"The Independent Federal Republic of the Arstotzkan Union shall and is to, put up any offer to any and all allies in the event they are attacked or are threatened by a foreign aggressor." - Section 3, Article 5, Constitution of the Arstotzkan Union

The Arstotzkan Union is also known for offering military assistance to early. During the early stages of the Morrinstani Independence Crisis, the Arstotzkan Union announced that the People's Armed Forces would protection the People’s Liberation Council of Morrinstan in their independence efforts, while this was seen as a threat to the Taurstan Anarchist Federation, a close ally of the Arstotzkan Union's through the Coalition.

Foreign Relations with Micronations

For the early days of the Arstotzkan Union's existence, it did not have any foreign relations with any micronation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs rather aimed at building relations with New Zealand once the nation had the ability to form a proper government. This was until late 2020 when micronations began forming in opposition to the Arstotzkan Union.

Confederate Democracy of Gamers

For the most part of the existence of the CDG it was always an enemy state of the Arstotzkan Union. In late-2020 the Arstotzkan Union declared war on the Confederate Democracy of Gamers after the First President had soured relations with the CDG over its territory. In 2022 the Arstotzkan Union officially set up positive relations following the end of the Arstotzkan - Alliance War and formed the Trans-Tauranga Micronational Partnership Agreement and to this day the CDG stands as one of the Arstotzkan Union's great allies.

Grayson Country

Grayson Country was a former enemy state of the Arstotzkan Union similar to the Confederate Democracy of Gamers. Formed in 2022 as a spiteful opposition to the Arstotzkan Union's growing power dominance in the Tauranga Micronational Area. Following the Arstotzkan - Alliance War, Grayson Country also became a party to the Trans-Tauranga Micronational Partnership Agreement and entered into semi-peaceful relations with the Arstotzkan Union. In late December the states of the TTMPA, excluding Grayson Country formally invaded the nation and removed its territory dividing it between the three remaining states before it was handed over to the Empire of Him, as per the agreement in the Commonwealth - Empire Peace Treaty Agreement.

Ward Empire

Main article: Empirical - Arstotzkan Relations

The Arstotzkan Union and Ward Empire have the strongest alliance out of any micronation. Following the formation of the Ward Empire on 6 July 2022 the Arstotzkan Union ensured a long lasting friendship between the two nations. First President Ethan Brinkman and Supreme Emperor Ben Ward were two best friends prior to the formation of the two states and have continued their friendship to this day. This friendship is shared between many members of the Arstotzkan Federal Government and the Supreme Senate.

The Ward Empire is considered the Arstotzkan Union's closest ally and vice versa. The Ward Empire and Arstotzkan Union have a direct communications line known as the Green Phone Communications Line which is similar to the Red Phones between the US and USSR during the Cold War. The Ward Empire is the only ally of the Arstotzkan Union to have such a line of communication.

Because the shared friendship between the two nations, the Arstotzkan Union and Ward Empire have fought side by side in many recent conflicts including the Arstotzkan - Alliance War, Commonwealth-Empire War and Benereich - Coalition War. Both nations have also conducted military exercises together and both the People's Armed Forces and First Supreme Army are engaged in the Ward - Arstotzkan Mutual Military Assistance Program, Coalition of United Micronations Security Assistance Program and Trans-Tauranga Military Protection Action, although it is believed the former will be finishing with the future of the Trans-Tauranga Micronational Partnership Agreement uncertain.
