The Great City of Gærstan, commonly refered to as Gaerstan, is the capital of Munkkia. Gaerstan consists of 18 km2. Gaerstan was established by President Mathias L. Magnussen. President Mathias is also the only citizen living in Gaerstan. Gaerstan became the capital of Munkkia on the 7th of Janurary, exactly half a year after the formation, replacing Anonsk.
