Government House is the official residence and workplace of the President of the State of Norton and his/her family. The vast building and its surrounding complex is owned by the Federal Government of the State of Norton, and serves as the headquarters of the executive branch. The term "Government House" is often used as a metonym for the President and their advisors.

The most notable rooms in the residence include the Ballroom (where official state dinners and events are held), the Executive Office (the official office space designated to the President) and the Cabinet Room (where meetings of the Cabinet & National Security Council take place).

The residence is equipped with a plethora of amenities that include: Private & State Gardens (maintained by the Nortonian Horticultural Society), a swimming pool and a grass layered tennis court.

Monclair House (Country Residence)

Monclair House is the official country residence of the President & First Family of the State of Norton. It is located in the outlying province of Sarum, roughly 20 minutes from Government House in Mill Green City. Like Government House, it is owned by the Federal Government, hosting Cabinet meetings when the President is in residence. The grounds are maintained by the Nortonian Horticultural Society, while protection is provided by the Nortonian Government Protection Command (NGPC) & the Presidential Security division of the Nortonian Self Defence Force.
