The Governor-General of Atiera, commonly abbreviated as the GG, is the viceroy and regent of the Kingdom of Atiera. The Governor-General was also the head of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council of Atiera up until its disbandment on 2 June 2021. The position was established on 3 February 2021 by royal decree XI. Prince Gladden is the current Governor-General, serving since 31 July 2021.
Responsibility and Duties
The Governor-General has the following responsibilities and duties established by royal decree IX:
- Act as the Regent of Atiera in times of regency
- Serve as a personal representative of His Majesty the King
- Act as a diplomatic representative of Atiera
