The Grand Principality of Caliruni (sicilian: Granprincipatu ri Caliruni and italian: Granprincipato di Caliruni) is a micronation in Central Sicily, between Caltanissetta and Enna.
History
Free Territory of Milazzo
The Free Territory of Milazzo (sicilian: Territoriu Libbiru ri Milazzu; italian: Territorio Libero di Milazzo) has been a micronation of the city of Milazzo, located in Sicily, by 2018-2022. It is a member of the FUMI and SMI and it consists of 37 citizens.
The founder of the Free Territory of Milazzo is Raffaele Catalano. In the Free Territory of Milazzo there are two political parties: the Socialist Party of Milazzo and the Traditonalist Party of the Goats, with conservative ideas.
On September 28, 2023, the Archduke sold the TLM to a new micronationalist EduKori.
Invasion of the Archduchy of Padania
On 5 November 2022 the Archduchy of Padania invades and conquers micronation due to the vacuum of micronational power.
Micronation name change
On 15 November 2022 it changed its name and moved the capital to Caliruni.
The Prefect-Governor is Archduke Kalyroon22 himself.
On 24 November 2022 the Government of the Grand Principality of Caliruni decided not to recognize the micronation of Reino da Itália until the symbols change; because the Trinacria is a sacred symbol of the people of Caliruni and the Sicilians.
Official currency
The currency of the micronation was the Grain of Milazzo (MIG) from 2018 to 2022; in the same year it is replaced with the Grain of Caliruni.
