H. R. H. (His Royal Highness) The Archduke's Medal is a Mimasian decoration that the archduke can bestow upon both Mimasian and foreign citizens, established on August 10, 2019.

Criteria

H. R. H. The Archduke's Medal is awarded to Mimasian and foreign citizens for special merits as well as to officials at the royal court. Since December 2019, and the December Parliamentary Vote, the medal is the highest honour a Mimasian citizen can be bestowed without entering the peerage.

Appearance

The medal consists of a circular silver medal, with a diameter of 40 mm. The obverse shows the face of Christoph II in profile and inscription "Christoph II Archduke of Mimas". The ribbon is folded in a triangular fashion, 45 mm wide, deep teal with one 3 mm white stripe in the center.

Wear

In both the uniform and civilian clothes, the decoration is worn on the left side of the chest. Additionally, the band clip may be worn while in uniform, and the miniature medal or ribbon bar may be worn while in civilian clothes.

Regulations

Once awarded, the decoration becomes the property of the awardee, and may only be worn by them. After their death, the decoration may only be used for remembrance purposes or is asked to be returned to Archduchy of Mimas.
