This template is used to designate articles regarding defunct entities, the articles of which do not convey that the entity or agreement is defunct. This template is appropriate for nations and organizations, as well as treaties, pacts, or other agreements. Articles are considered reflecting defunct states when all events have been written about in the past tense, where applicable.
