Hoffmann, (Japanese: ホフマン, Hofuman; Russian: хоффманн) officially the State of Hoffmann (Estado de Hoffmann; состояние гофмана; ホフマン状態, Hofuman jōtai), is one of the five states of the Federal Republic of Forestia. Hoffmann is bordered by Brazil and has a total area of 0.12 square kilometres.[1] The state's capital is Nova Vitória. Hoffmann is located in Brazil's Center-West region. It is the second largest state, being behind Yuwa-Kati.
Etymology
The state's name comes from the surname of Brazilian racing driver Ingo Hoffmann.
Geography
Hoffmann is located in the Brazilian Highlands, being at an elevation of around 1,000 metres (3,300 ft). Hoffmann comprises a total area of 0.121 square kilometres. The state follows the Brasília Standard Time, which is three hours behind the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). It is bordered by the Brazilian Federal District. Being in a mostly flat region, the difference in elevation between areas is minimal.
Climate
Hoffmann has a tropical savanna climate (Aw, according to the Koppen climate classification) and has an average temperature of 23°C. Having a wet season that lasts from October to March, and a dry season that lasts from April to September. Hoffmann is largely comprised of Cerrado vegetation.
