Hopeful Morning Broadcasting Network (HMBN) is an Arlandican state-owned online television and newspaper. It is headquartered in Rio Santiago City, Lémarita. Founded by King Jerold I on August 11, 2022, it is currently managed by Benz Gian Arellano, the 1st and current President of the Parliament. HMBN stands as the inaugural and sole online television and newspaper of Arlandica.

History

HMBN is the result of the merger between Arlandican Government Television and Radio (AGTVR) and The Lebetaryan Channel (TLCTV). AGTVR was established in 2020, while TLCTV was launched in 2021. The merger occurred as a consequence of annexation of Lémarita by Arlandica.

  • Türkiye-Syria Earthquake: A Day That Shocked The World provided live coverage and updates throughout the duration of the earthquake, including a real-time death toll tally. The event was primarily broadcasted by Sky News and also aired live in Arlandica through HMBN.

Films

  • Red, White & Royal Blue is a 2023 American LGBT romantic comedy film directed by Matthew Lopez in his feature film directorial debut, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ted Malawer. Based on the 2019 novel of the same name by Casey McQuiston, the film stars Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine as the son of the president of the United States and a British prince, respectively, who fall in love. Clifton Collins Jr., Sarah Shahi, Rachel Hilson, Stephen Fry, and Uma Thurman appear in supporting roles. Originally from Amazon Prime Video, it was the first LGBT film in HMBN.

Test card

In the final 30 minutes of the test card broadcast, a mix of songs, classical musical pieces, Filipino music, and international tunes is played. Accompanying this musical lineup, a digital clock is displayed, and minor test card variations occur periodically.

Newspaper

HMBN extends its media influence beyond broadcasting by producing annual online newspaper, known as the Santo Niño Post. These publications serve as extensive repositories of information, providing updates about Arlandica, along with featuring news, stories, sports reports, and opinion articles. Notably, the newspaper's chief writer is King Jerold I.
