The House of Jacobs is a prominent family from Mladorossija and Saint Constantine, Ashukovo. The House was founded in the middle of XIX century and recognized as a royal dynasty in April 2020.

The family's most prominent micronational figure is Edward I, who has held senior offices in Amager and Ashukovo, and currently serves as Stadtholder of the Republic of Ashukovo.

Etymology

The name Jacobs originates from the given name Jacob, derived from the Latin Jacobus, itself derived from the Hebrew language personal name Yaakov, from the Hebrew word akev ("heel"). The first record of the surname dates back to 1244 in the "Cartularium Monasterii de Rameseia". The surname Jacobs referred to the son of Jacob which belongs to the category of patronymic surnames.
