The House of Sildavia (Portuguese: Casa da Sildávia) is a relevant royal house of brazilian micronationalism, present in three micronations. It currently occupies the throne of the United Kingdom of Sildavia and Borduria, since 2020, with this realm being the house's main focus of micronational action to now. The house also reigned in the Grand Duchy of Mëcklewmburg-Wladir as Co-Ruling house until the abdication of the Queen as Co-Grand Duchess. Throughout its micronational history, the House of Sildavia has also held a title in Ebenthal and Queensland.
History
The House of Sildavia was founded in 2020 by The Queen with the foundation of the Principality (later kingdom) of Sildavia. The then Sovereign Princess of Sildavia assumed the House of Ottokar-Flaviano as her royal house. The Princess ennobled her maternal family as Princes of Sildavia with Highness style, and later with Sildavia becoming a kingdom they became Royal Highnesses.
The Princess decided not to benefit her paternal family with the title of Prince of Sildavia, however they would continue in the line of succession to the throne below her maternal family, however a few months after the foundation of Sildavia, by Patent Letter, the Princess granted to her father the hereditary title of Duke of Flaviano, and the style of Serene Highness, making him a "Royal Duke". Along with the concession of the dukedom, she established that his descendants would have the right to use the title of Prince or Princess of Flaviano and the style of Serene Highness. As her father and the rest of her paternal family did not receive the titles of a Sildavian prince, they automatically do not belong to the Royal House, but remain members of the royal family. On 2021 Queen Maria issued a statement announcing the change of the name of the royal house from House of Ottokar-Flaviano to House of Sildavia officially.
On March 2021 The Queen assumed the title additional of Czarina of Borduria, and in May the title of Grand Duchess of Mëcklewmburg-Wladir. With the emancipation of the same Grand Duchy months later she became Co-monarch and Co-Grand Duchess together with the House of Almeida. On March 2021 Queen Maria was also made Duchess of Kheenich with the style of Her Grace in Ebenthal. After a while she was elevated by The King of Ebenthal as a noble Princess with style of Highness, this was the first princely title granted to a hergerian royal by a foreign country.
On September 2021, due to the birthday of her grandmother, the Dowager Baroness Ferreira, The Queen bestowed her the title of Duchess of Östervarstland, which created a new branch in the family, the House of Östervarstland. She and her decendents received the style of "Serene Highness", and her decendents the title of Princes of Östervarstland.
On March 2023 The Queen reorganized the country, creating the United Kingdom of Sildavia and Borduria, thus, making the members of the royal house Princes of Sildavia and Borduria.
