The Forestrian Parliament is a Democratically elected legislature in Forestria. It was created under the Constitution of Forestria.

Members

Members of Parliament are elected by majority vote in elections in States. If there is a tie in a state, then the Emperor chooses the member or the one with majority popularity vote in the secondary elections gets picked.

Powers

The Parliament has few powers controlling the state. Unusually for a legislature, the Parliament cannot make laws. It can only declare wars and ratify treaties. Even then, the royal family has lots of power and can declare war without the Parliament.

History

Beginnings

The Imperial Parliament begins during the Diet legislature, but it can trace its roots to the first legislature in Ninjago, the first Parliament. It then had several versions, including the Councils, Diet, and the NAC.

April

During the month of April, the Emperor created the position of Cuʥvenbadæën. The first Cuʥvenbadæën became Madam Elayna, the Lord of Jedio.

May

During the month of May, the Parliament passed the Act of the Kingdoms as well as the Amendment One of the Education Systems Act. The Kingdoms Act officially created a new entity called “Kingdoms.” Amendment One created a program known as the Forestrian Educational Standard or FES
