Imvrassian Archontia

An Imvrassian Archontia was the lowest territorial and administrative unit of Imvrassia.
Each Archontia was governed by citizens with the title of Sebastos.
The ruler of an Archontia was called Archon and had no deputy or assistant on his duties.
An Archontia was usually a house or a land area without buildings and population.
On 16 June 2023 a partial revision of the Constitution took place and more specifically changes in the administrative division of the Empire. The Theme will be the only subdivision of a Province or a Despotate and so Archontia was abolished.
