History
On the occasion of his 13th birthday on 22 June 2018, King Reuben I founded the Kingdom of Salanda. The first anniversary of the nation's independence was marked by several festivities which were usually broadcasted throughout the nation and beyond with massive celebrations and fireworks as well as massive parades. Every year on the Independence Day, the nation's founding has been held in different parts of the nation to bring the festival to every citizen and this tradition has continued since then.
Preparations
In the weeks leading to the Independence Day, massive preparations are put in place such as choosing of the locations of the main parades so that the organizers could make appropriate preparations.
