The Independent Cristorian Party (ICP) was a Cristorian political party founded by Christopher P. upon the signing of the Declaration of Independence in January 2023.[1]

History

On 1 January 2023, the Republic of Cristoria declared independence from the United States of America. Following this, a crucial signatory, Christopher P., founded his own political party.

This party would be known as the "Independent Cristorian Party" and was the first party to appear in the newborn Republic of Cristoria.

Twenty-five days after its foundation, the Independent Cristorian Party would run in the congressional elections in the Republic of Cristoria. The party would be running against the newborn Cristorian Communist Party and the Cristorian Progressive Party.

The first round of elections were the House of Representatives elections that lasted from 20 January 2023 to 22 January 2023. The Independent Cristorian Party won the most seats in the elections, but lost twenty of its previous seats within the House of Representatives.

On the same day that the House of Representatives elections ended, the Senate elections began. The Independent Cristorian Party lost sixteen seats, but gained twenty-four, making it remain as the dominant party in the Republic of Cristoria.

Symbols

The Independent Cristorian Party had a variety of symbols. These symbols were seen at rallies, speeches, and even election locations.

The offical logo of the ICP was a seal that is placed on documents, podiums, motorcades, and anything where the general secretary is speaking at. The logo held a star that was filled with royal blue and white, which was outlined in the shade of gray that is found on the flag of Cristoria. Inside the star, a hammer and sickle can be found.

Flag

Another famous symbol of the Independent Cristorian Party was its flag. The flag contained a royal blue base, a gold star in the upper hoist, and a gold stripe at the bottom.

The flag was to be flown at military matches alongside the national flag, as the ICP was the dominant party within the Republic of Cristoria during the entirety of its existence.
