The Ambassador of Indradhanush to the Pinangese Republic (Hindi: पिनांगी गणराज्य में इंद्रधनुष का राजदूत, Bengali: পিনাং গণরাজ্য তে ইন্দ্রধনুষের রাজদূত, Italian: L'Ambasciatore di Indradhanush nella Repubblica Pinangese) is a diplomat of the Indradhanushian Ministry of External Affairs and the non-resident head of the royal diplomatic mission in Pinang in Italy. The job has the rank and status of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and is currently Lorenzo Marquez has been holding the position since the establishment of the mission on 15 October 2021. The official title of the head of the diplomatic mission is Her Indradhanushian Majesty's Ambassador to the Pinangese Republic. The ambassador's work is assisted by multiple consulates throughout the country that have visiting and reporting responsibilities, as well as consular and trade matters for the embassy.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the ambassador include being the principal representative of the King/Queen and the Government of Indradhanush to the Pinangese Republic, and also to present Indradhanushian policies to the Pinangese-born citizens and to the government, and to report Pinangese policies and views to the crown and the government, and also to inform all Pinangese citizens regarding all major events and news from Indradhanush. The duties also include directing diplomatic activity in support of trade and for the provision of consular support to Pinangese citizens in Indradhanush and also observe and oversee cultural relations between the two countries.
