The International Whig Party, more commonly referred to as the The Whigs, is a center-left political party in the, Kingdom of Hrafnarfjall, Kingdom of Helluland, Principality of Misberia, Kingdom of Aspen and the State of Vishwamitra that has been described as a party of progressive social-monarchy. The party is the sole ruling party of the Kingdoms of Hrafnarfjall and Kingdom of Helluland.
The party was founded in 2019, having succeeded the Liberal-Monarchist party in the Aspen Empire
Name and Symbols
The International Whig Party was chosen by the founding members of the Whig Party of Aspen. William Wilson is credited with coming up with the name with help from Bradley van Dullahan.
Structure and Party Government
For day-to-day operations, the power of the Marine Labor Movement is done through the Party Council with one representative from each national branch of the party working with the Chairman to determine policy and direction.
The International Whig Party meets every six months, and during electoral periods, across each of its organizations and plans the next few months worth of policies, issues between the groups and other vital party issues or concerns.
