He was elected by the "Humanist Alternative" party, of his own foundation. It was the second left government on Rino Island, after Tomás Ríos, its predecessor. He obtained 54% of the votes in the 2016 presidential election, beating Alejandro Santander.[1][2]

In his brief government, Rino Island was confirmed as the headquarters of microvision, a Penal Code was approved. After a month in office, he mysteriously disappeared. His case is similar to that of Harold Holt, Prime Minister of Australia who disappeared at sea.[3]

After his disappearance he was overthrown and replaced by the Provisional Government of National Restoration of Rino Island.
