The June 2022 Roscamistan snap presidential election was the second presidential election in Roscamistan, and the first snap presidential election. President Thomas Jacobs called an vote for 10 June 2022, five days after the overthrow of democratically elected President Adam Flannery. It was also the first where Thomas Jacobs would be a candidate. The winner of the election was slated to be inaugurated on 17 June 2022, or 1 July 2022 in the event of a second round.

Background

The snap presidential election was called after a coup against President Adam Flannery removed him from power, installing Thomas Jacobs for a third term as the President of the Republic, calling an early election in an attempt to legitimise his hold on the presidency.
