The Kingdom of Robe , more commonly known as Robe, is a micronation in Europe. The nation is located in County Mayo, in the west of Ireland.

Etymology

Robe

Robe is also the name of the river that runs threw the town of Ballinrobe. This is also due to the king’s family having strong connections to the sea and waterways in Ireland

History

The Kingdom of Robe was founded on February 17, 2019, by the King and his family, under the oligarchy of Robe. The nation evolved into the Kingdom of Robe over the winter of 2019-2020, and a new ruling party adopted a new constitution, marking a change in governance from the parliament.

Coup

However, on April 24, 2021, the nation was shocked by the successful coup led by the United Front, headed by David Walsh, which attempted to overthrow the monarchy. The RDF intervened in Operation Trident and secured the nation, restoring power back to the King.

Following the coup, the King and the newly formed National Council brought stability back to the nation of Robe.

By August of 2021, the nation had fully recovered, but was still ruled by the King and Council. The decision was made to allow the resumption of parliament, which had been dissolved in May of 2021. The groundwork was laid in August, and by the end of September, a new parliament was fully operational, with the newly elected Prime Minister Oliver Kavanagh at its helm.
