The Kingdom of Valdu was officially established on June 14, 2021. Valdu is a micronation located in the United States and Greenland. Valdu is an absolute monarchy led by His Majesty, King Francis I.
History
The Very Beginning
The idea of forming Verminsk started long ago but the idea was officialy worked on in July 12, 2020 at 11:26 PM with the Founding Fathers being; @Deleted User, @Cyan Mini Crewmate, @Karl I der Große, @White Baron and @Whiskey Epsilon#9449. The Grand Principality started out as a Principality and later on it became a Grand Principality on July 16, 2020, 12:22 PM. The discord server was created on July 14, 2020.
The Beginning
On August 25, 2020, the Grand Principality of Verminsk officially opened up. It had little success when it first opened but plans were made to make it more successful. On August 24, 2020, the Barony of Darvesia, founded by Baron @Augustus Darvian. On the same day Darvesia became a puppet state of the Grand Principality.
On August 30, 2020, a small piece of unclaimed land was colonized and was officially named as 'Luolandija.' It is a official province of Verminsk.
Death Or Reform?
The Grand Principality of Verminsk died due to lost of motivation. But on May and June 2021 the owner decided to revive the idea once again. The King decided to change Verminsk from Grand Principality to a Kingdom and changed the name from Verminsk to Valdu. Due to these changes, Luolandija and Darvesia was abandoned and Augustus Darvian lost his titles.
It seems like Valdu will actually get revived this time.
Success
On June 25, 2021 Valdu's microwiki page was created. The Kingdom of Valdu has finally completed its beginning steps as a nation. After 11 1/2 months, the Kingdom of Valdu finally became a reality. The King, Francis I was very pleased with the results. Slowly, but surely Valdu is rising in popularity. Luolandija was also reconquered and is now an official province of Valdu.

The King of Valdu is the title given to the absolute monarch of Valdu. His power is unlimited and has the final authority over the nation. The current King is Francis I, who ascended the throne following the establishment of Valdu, on June 14, 2021. Currently, he is the only person to have ever occupied the throne. The King is the supreme head of state of Valdu.
Powers and duties
It is the job of the monarch to make sure Valdu lives on and gives the people a reason to be proud to be called a Valduese citizen. The monarch appoints new laws/decrees, commands Valdu's military, start up diplomatic relations, and so on.

The Princely Council
The Princely Council is the de facto legislature of Valdu. It is made up of princes, appointed by the King of Valdu. The Princely Council currently holds a total of 20 seats and 21 seats if you include the President of the Princely Council which is held by Valdu's Crown Prince. The duty of the Princely Council is to suggest laws and propose them to the monarch and if the monarch needs help deciding upon something, then the monarch would call upon the council and they will hold a vote.
Foreign Policy
The Kingdom of Valdu's foreign policy is just to be open. The Kingdom of Valdu has had official diplomatic relations with the Most Serene Republic of Richensland. Valdu hopes to get some sort of diplomatic relations with the Principality of Caudonia, but due to their isolation policy this may not happen.
Allies
On June 26, 2021 the Kingdom of Valdu and the Most Serene Republic of Richensland signed the Treaty of Sjerelyslau-Beyanhum. This further tightens Valdu's friendship with Richensland.
National Symbols
The national symbol of Valdu is the Griffin. The griffin is half lion (body, tail, and back legs) and half eagle (head and wings). The griffin represents power, courage, and boldness. The griffin also represents the people of Valdu along with the nation of Valdu.
