Latalle otherwise known as the Latalle Monarchy is a micronation currently active in the Rhode Island Sector. Latalle intially existed from August 2020 to September 2020 in the first iteration of the nation until it was annexed by Reunited Ocean States. It was established for the 2nd time in April 2021 until it was subsequently reconquered by Reunited Ocean States. The third establishment of Latalle was on 27 March 2022, and is currently active.
Etymology
It is unknown where the name Latalle comes from.
History
2020
The Latalle Monarchy was first formed in August 2020 at an unknown date. It came into prominence after declaring war on Reunited Ocean States. Shortly after the Federal States of Delphia supported Ocean States against Latalle. Eventually the Latalle Monarchy surrendered on September 12th, and was annexed by Reunited Ocean States.
2021
On April 17th, 2021, the Latalle Monarchy declared independence from Ocean States due to issues over federal laws regarding COVID-19. Laws placed by the central government of Reunited States restricting the flow of civilians in and out of states caused the governor of Latalle to bring up his grievances with the president. After an argument over Snapchat, Latalle declared independence from Reunited Ocean States and re-instated the monarchy. Latalle eventually surrendered a day after the Invasion of Latalle. It was currently in an odd legal state, as Marcus Izzo blocked both Jaime P. III and Hunt Powell over Snapchat after surrendering.
2022
Latalle re-established itself for the third time on 27 March 2022, however this time it did not secede from Ocean States but instead chose to establish itself on new territory. It is currently unknown where this territory is.
