The Leader of His Majesty's Opposition, more commonly known simply as the Leader of the Opposition, is the politician who leads the official opposition in the Kingdom of Norton. The leader of the opposition by convention leads the largest party not within the government: where one party wins outright this is the party leader of the second largest political party in the Estates General. The position is currently held by Tobey Wyles since the January 2023 election.

Role

The Leader of the Opposition is often viewed as an alternative Prime Minister, and is appointed as a member of the Privy Council. They often lead an Official Opposition Shadow Cabinet, which scrutinises the actions of the cabinet and offers alternative policies in a plethora of portfolios.
