The Lieutenant Chair of the Cupertino Alliance, known simply as the Lieutenant Chair or Lt. Chair for short, is the deputy to, and the closest advisor of the Chair of the Board.

The office was created in July 2020 by the Prime Minister Act,[1] with the name of the role amended to Lieutenant Chair in early August.

Originally the Lieutenant Chair was appointed by the Chair with the approval of Parliament. This was later amended to be the Chairmans running mate in elections, or a nominee approved by Parliament should none exist.[2]
