The position of Lord High Treasurer is the third of the Great Officers of State of the Revalian Kingdom, nominally ranking beneath the Lord High Chancellor and above the Lord President of the Privy Council.
The office is not ceremonial, the Lord High Treasurer has actual duties as the head of HM Treasury. In case there is no Minister of Finance or Economy, the Lord High Treasurer also fills his place in HM Government, where he has a seat.
The office is currently held by Kaarel Luikmel, the nation's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
