Lord Myles, Duke of Reindhelm KRC GNK GCB (born 10 May 1998) is a Kanish politician and physicist and former Army officer. He has served in many distinguished positions within the Kingdom of Kosmark and is one of the most honoured.

History

Born in South West England, Lord Myles became a citizen of Kosmark in late December 2013 and made a peer soon after. He received his first office in 2014 and has continued to serve Kosmark in many different political roles.

Career

Military

As an Army officer, Lord Myles was in charge of managing the UAV systems that they operated. He commanded the Reconnaissance Platoon for 2 months during which time the platoon saw service in its usual role of surveillance. Lord Myles was appointed Commander of the Kanish Armed Forces when he was appointed Lord Chancellor and although he is now no longer Lord Chancellor still holds the rank of Commander.

Physics

As a keen physicist, Lord Myles was appointed Professor of Physics at the Kanish Institute of Education. He is responsible for education of physics and its development in Kosmark, however due to more pressing commitments in his own personal life and for the rest of Kosmark itself he has not yet had time to devote to this particular role.

Politician

Lord Myles was appointed Foreign Minister, his job is to run the Foreign Office. After the 1st Cabinet Resolve in March 2014, Lord Myles was appointed Lord Chancellor of Kosmark on the 4th March 2014. He replaced Lady Laura, Duchess of Handorf. During his tenure as Lord Chancellor, Lord Myles was helpful in the continued establishment of the nation. He was succeeded as Lord Chancellor by Prince Owen, Duke of Holmenburg on the 11th April 2014 after the 2nd Cabinet Resolve as a result of the abdication of Prince Owen as King. Lord Myles was subsequently made Vice Lord Chancellor. On the 9th April 2014 Lord Myles was appointed Governor of Oran, although speculation in the Cabinet dictates that the current form of government is reaching the end of its rather short life. As with the changes made to Territories, Lord Myles was removed as Governor of Oran.

Reindhelm

On the 2nd May 2014, the new Crown State, the Duchy of Reindhelm was created and Lord Myles was appointed the reigning Duke. The Duchy of Reindhelm is the third largest Crown State however second in terms of power compared to the lesser state of the County of Raushagen. Lord Myles has yet to exercise his new powers such as the appointments of Circuit Judge and Police Inspector. As well as this, Lord Myles was also appointed Lord President of the Privy Council, to the lead the prestigious advisory body in the stead of the King.

Awards and honours

Lord Myles is a peer of Kosmark, an honour bestowed upon him by the Monarch (King Owen) in December 2013. For his service and work in Kosmark, Lord Myles holds the highest degrees in the two orders of Kosmark. On the 13th February 2014, Lord Myles was appointed an Officer of the National Order of Kosmark, he was appointed a Knight Companion of the Order of the White Cross on the same day. On the 4th March 2014, after his appointment to Lord Chancellor, Lord Myles was appointed Knight of the National Order of Kosmark and a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the White Cross. On the 6th March 2014, Lord Myles received a higher peerage - Earl of Reindhelm - to fit his new position of Lord Chancellor.

After the passing of the Honours Act 2014 Lord Myles was appointed a Knight Commander of the Order of the Royal Crown as well as Knight Grand Cross of the National Order of Kosmark and the Order of the Banner in recognition of his esteemed service to the Kingdom of Kosmark.

On the 2nd May 2014, after Owen I retook power as King he made Lord Myles the reigning Duke of Reindhelm, a newly created Crown State within the Kingdom. Lord Myles is considered the second most powerful person in the Kingdom and has been strong in his support for Kosmark.
