Background

After the creation of the Imperial Council in the Kingdom it was agreed that after one year of governance by the Council a constitutional review would take place to update the kingdoms constitution. His Majesty gave consent to this on the 7TH of May 2010 and both house began work completing this project

Aims

The aims of the constitutional reform are:

  • Update constitution
  • Add articles on the church
  • include the Imperial Council and include its rights and privilages
  • appoint a head for the Royal Council


Process

The process in which the Imperial council takes towards this task is that a section of the constutuion is taking a day. The council then debates the chosen part wether it is acceptable needs improvement or needs replacing. the process is expected to take two weeks and will conclude with massive changes to the constitution of the Kingdom.

As of the 15/05/2010 the Imperial council has annouced that the revision of the first 14 Articles of the Constitution have been brought before the council and Reviewed. The Imperial council is happy with the progress and speed at which the constitution is being reviewed. The first 14 Articles have been sent to King Michael I of Lutherania for His Majesty's approval, on which the Articles will return to the council ready as the start of our REVISED Constitution.

His Majesty has agreed to the first 14 Articles of the Constitution and has sent back the 14 Articles with his Royal Assent to the Imperial Council.

  • 17 May 2010

It has been annouched by parliament that the articles 15 - 27 have been reviewed by the Imperial Council. The Imperial Council were happy with these Articles and few changes have been made. Like the first 14 Articles these Articles will be sent to the monarch tomorrow for His Majesty's approval and Royal Assent.

His Majesty has given his Royal Assent to articles 15-27 to the Imperial Council.

His Majesty has given his Assent to the final articles of the Lutheranian Constitution and signed it into law. The Imperial Council has taken a leave of one week after the Contitutional review and will reasemble on the 3rd of June.
