History
Luca Mirante laid the foundation of Luxe in 2009 within the confines of his room, marking the inception of what would later become a thriving micronation. Luxe evolved from a simple city to a city-state, boasting shops, offices, ministries, parks, and sports fields that enriched its landscape. Initially considered a municipality in Trentino Alto Adige, Luxe governed multiple hamlets, with Bussolino being the only one retained after the incorporation of Vicolo in 2018. In 2014, Città di Luxe secured its position as the legitimate capital, first of the Stato Oligarchico di Luxe and later of the Republic of Luxe. To distinguish it from the state, it adopted the moniker Luxe City. The city, with its two hamlets, Bussolino and Entra Mira, now plays a pivotal role in the Governatorato di Luxe. It stands as the only territory officially recognized as independent and has become a beacon of micronational prominence.
Institutional role
Over the years, Luxe has ascended to prominence by hosting the headquarters of various national and international institutions, solidifying its role as the epicenter of Luxe's governance and diplomacy.
