Political career

National Assembly of Phillip

Madison Marcos was elected to represent the Calabaza District in the National Assembly of Phillip on 13 January 2023. On the same day, she was elected by the Assembly to be the Supreme Judge, which also acts as the Speaker of the Assembly. She was a member of the Phillip National Front, which in February 2023 created an alliance to vote together to block a bill restricting suffrage for citizens above the age of 20.

Vice Presidential Candidacy

In March 2023, fellow National Assembly Representative Iyan Seeker announced his candidacy for presidency. With the launch of his candidacy, he announced that Marcos would be his running mate. Marcos was also running for president because of a constitutional requirement that political parties must put out at least one candidate for president, but did not intend to win the election. On 13 April, she was elected as vice president in a close election.
