The empire is located in several locations surrounding and within the town of Bunbury, Australia, consisting of one state, three territories and one vassal state. This is a newly founded micronation, founded by Elijah Winterville and Zachary Shell, former citizens of an annexed micronation, the former Republic of New Southland. New Southland was annexed by the Marxist Empire, and is now a vassal state of the nation, named the Vassal State of New Southland. The Marxist Empire is ruled by Elijah Winterville, who holds the position of Supreme Emperor. The nation is the founder of the National Political Alliance.
The Marxist Empire is a semi-socialist state, and it operates using a totalitarian governmental system, which is managed by the Supreme Emperor. Elijah Winterville, the Supreme Emperor, is an autocratic dictator. The economy of the Marxist Empire operates under a semi-socialist and communist economic system, in which private property and goods have been abolished, and resources, capital goods and land are allocated as needed equally to the citizens of the Marxist Empire. The economy can be categorised as a command economy within a controlled market, as the government of the nation completely controls all aspects of the economy.
The Marxist Empire holds five territorial claims, all of which are within the Commonwealth of Australia. This is due to the fact that the Marxist Empire declared independence from Australia. As a result of this, the nation almost entirely borders the Commonwealth of Australia. The Vassal State of New Southland shares a border with a territory of the Marxist Empire, as the Frostin Valley Territory and New Southland share an open border, which stretches across the entire length of the territory and vassal state. The name, 'Marxist Empire,' represents the founders communist ideals. The Supreme Emperor, Elijah Winterville, believes communism is the only route for a utopia, and will protect their ideals with an autocratic dictatorship.
The national flag of the Marxist Empire represents the nations intelligence, represented by red, strength, represented by black, and the white represents the purity of the nations ideals. The hammer and sickle represents the socialist and communist ideals the nation is built upon. However, there is more meaning to the flag when all of these elements are combined. The red and black together represent the blood and darkness in the world, and the white pillars are the four original territorial claims of the Marxist Empire, representing hope. The white circle in the middle represents the Supreme Emperor, who holds these four pillars of hope together.
The national anthem of the Marxist Empire is a patriotic song sung in German, which embodies the beauty and gloriousness of the nation.
The national sports are fencing and archery, as combat is a large cultural practice of the nation. The mosquito is the national animal, as it is densely populated within the Frostin Valley Territory. The national dish is 'Gugsuwa Dubu,' a cultural meal made by the Supreme Emperor.

The Marxist Empire was founded on September 20, 2022. The self-declared sovereign state, also referred to as a micronation, was founded by Elijah Winterville and Zachary Shell. Elijah Winterville became the leader of this nation, granting themselves the position of Supreme Emperor. They declared independence from the Commonwealth of Australia, as defined in a document formed by the Supreme Emperor. As former citizens of the Republic of New Southland, they formed the empire due to their disgust of what their nation had become. They claimed territory below New Southland for the political advantage it offered them, as well as their homesteads. As the Marxist Empire originally had hostile relations with the Republic of New Southland, they declared war on the nation on September 21. On September 23, the Supreme Emperor, Elijah Winterville, contacted the Republic of New Southland, demanding recognition of the Marxist Empire. There was no immediate reply. Due to this lack of a response, Elijah Winterville began contacting other micronations, searching for recognition and alliances.
On September 25, a cyber attack occurred, targeting online sources owned by the Marxist Empire. An investigation was launched by Emperor Elijah as a result of this attack. They uncovered the culprit, which happened to be Marcus Barensky, the previous president of New Southland. Although Marcus had been cooperating with the Marxist Empire so far, Emperor Elijah still struck swiftly. Elijah declared Marcus an enemy of the nation and prevented Marcus from having communication with or entry into the nation, and cut off his communication with the nations citizens.

On October 5, the Supreme Emperor, Elijah Winterville created a section within the government dedicated to foreign relations, named the 'Marxist Department of Foreign Relations.' The department had immediate success two days later, when the Marxist Empire and Essizia became official allied nations.
On October 16, the Micronational Banning Contract declared war on the Marxist Empire. The MBC were a union of micronations, intent on destroying corruption within their fellow nations. They had set their sights on the Marxist Empire, choosing to declare war immediately. That same day, the Micronational Banning Contract surrendered to the Marxist Empire, as well as failing a political takeover, resulting in victory for the nation. This short duration earned the war the name 'the One Day War.' As this was the first war the nation had won, Elijah Winterville has declared a week of celebrations for the nation. The next day, the Supreme Emperor, Elijah Winterville has declared the Micronational Banning Contract enemies of the nation.
In response to the recent foreign takeover attempt, On October 18, Elijah Winterville issued heightened security protocols for the present and future. They also issued the formation of the 'Marxist Department of Security.' The Supreme Emperor was placed in direct charge of the department, however, the management of the department falls to the Supreme Chancellor and future Supreme General. This department manages foreign and internal security issues.
On October 19, the Micronational Banning Contract declared war on the Marxist Empire again. They had resorted to online vandalism and the spreading of misinformation to attempt to destroy the nation's public reputation. Elijah Winterville attempted to resolve the issue diplomatically. On October 21, the war against the Micronational Banning Contract came to an end. As it is unclear who won the second war, the Supreme Emperor, Elijah Winterville, declared an overall victory for the nation, as the MBC ended the war on Elijah's terms. However, the MBC warned the Marxist Empire that their allies will declare war against the nation. Elijah Winterville raised national security to the highest level in response to this threat.
The Declaration of Independence was declassified on October 23.
On October 25, an unknown source, confirmed to be an ally of the Micronational Banning Contract, attempted to create an uprising within the nation. However, due to the citizens loyalty and several laws past by the Supreme Emperor, Elijah Winterville, the situation was successfully contained.
October 29 was the day that the Micronational Banning Contract began dissolution, and ended all hostile relations with the Marxist Empire. The Supreme Emperor, Elijah Winterville, ceased all hostile relations with the MBC, and hoped to achieve a new era of peace in the near future. National security was lowered accordingly.

November 4 was the day in which *CLASSIFIED* was promoted to Supreme Advisor, a position which is independent of the government and military, but still operates entirely under the Supreme Emperor. They act largely as a consultant to the Supreme Emperor.
On November 5, The Marxist Empire and the Kingdom of Salanda became official allied nations.
On November 11, the Supreme Chancellor was demoted due to traitorous activities. While the position is temporarily open, the Supreme Advisor will take over their duties. However, Zachary Shell still holds the position of power over the state of Corvis. On the same day, a new territory was annexed from the Commonwealth of Australia, by the name of Svalry.
On November 14, new flags were created for the state and territories of the Marxist Empire, as well as a new national flag.
On November 24, the Supreme Emperor had learnt that the former Republic of New Southland had fallen into inactivity. Upon hearing this news, the Supreme Emperor struck. They issued an act of annexation regarding New Southland, and launched an invasion against the former nation, reportedly as a response to the fascism portrayed by the former nation. With no resistance, the Supreme Emperor gained sovereignty over the former nations territory. New Southland was temporarily issued territorial status within the Marxist Empire until an official agreement was reached. The Supreme Emperor, Elijah Winterville, began appointing new leaders of the territory, and the former population of New Southland were spread throughout the regions of the Marxist Empire accordingly.
November 27 marked the day in which the former Territory of New Southland was granted vassal status within the Marxist Empire, becoming the Vassal State of New Southland. Andrew Ongleburger has been appointed the Vassal President of New Southland. The Vassal State of New Southland shall adopt the constitution and legislation of the Marxist Empire.
On November 30, a coat of arms was commissioned for the Marxist Empire.
On December 1, the Marxist Empire and the New Rubix Republic became official allied nations.
December 6 marked the day in which the Marxist Empire founded the National Political Alliance. The organisation serves as an international alliance between member states, specifically involving an economic, militaristic and political alliance. At the time of its foundation, the NPA had two members, the founding and head state, the Marxist Empire, and the Vassal State of New Southland. The NPA is governed by the Supreme Emperor, given the title of Supreme President within the NPA, Elijah Winterville. The goal of the organisation is to spread political and ideological equality within the larger international community. The Empire of Essizia became a member state two days later.
On December 11, 2022, the Marxist Empire declared war on the Republic of Surdam, as the Supreme Emperor discovered that they had been trying to create an uprising within the nation.
Towards the end of December 11, 2022, the conflict that had taken place between the Marxist Empire and Surdam temporarily came to a close. The Supreme Emperor had pretended to be the leader of a rebel group within the Marxist Empire, tricking the President of Surdam into signing an alliance with what they believed to be a reformed New Southland. However, they included a clause ratifying the Marxist Empire's constitution within Surdam. This legalised the lies the Supreme Emperor had told Surdam. Additionally, due to the constitution being ratified within Surdam, this gave the Marxist Empire the legal ability to annex the nation, as specified in the fifth and sixth amendments. The Supreme Emperor issued an act of annexation and an act of designation, designating Surdam a territory of the Marxist Empire. The former President of Surdam refused to cooperate with the legal annexation, and cut off communication with the Supreme Emperor. The Supreme Emperor temporarily suspended the operation due to the lack of communication.
The next day, on December 12, 2022, the Supreme Emperor officially ended the war with Surdam, declaring the conflict a draw.
On March 16, 2023, the Supreme Emperor officially declared all internal operations of the Marxist Empire suspended indefinitely, after winning a civil conflict which severly damaged their leadership. The Supreme Emperor wishes their allies the best and apologises for failing their people and their nation.

The National Elijah Winterville Party is a former political party of the former Republic of New Southland, and has two members, the Supreme Emperor, Elijah Winterville, who is the leader of the party, and the former Supreme Chancellor, Zachary Shell. The political party is a communist party, which is represented in the flag by a hammer and sickle. Marcus Barensky, the founder of New Southland, had also personally requested that Elijah Winterville prevent his legacy from being destroyed, which the Supreme Emperor agreed to. The Supreme Emperor additionally saw this as a chance to strike, as the political situation between the two nations had been delicate for some time. The Supreme Emperor issued an annexation of New Southland. Elijah Winterville ultimately decided that peace would be the most beneficial route for both parties involved, and began peaceful negotiations with the government of New Southland.
The One Day War
On October 16, 2022, a union of micronations intent on destroying what they believed to be corruption within fellow micronations, named the Micronational Banning Contract, contacted the Supreme Emperor. They had declared war on the Marxist Empire. However, after negotiations with the leader of this union, Elijah Winterville was able to convince them to surrender and begin peaceful negotiations. Unfortunately, in the agreement that the leader of the Micronational Banning Contract had formed, he had hidden text which claimed that once the agreement had been signed, Elijah Winterville had to hand over the nation to the union. However, as Elijah Winterville had expected this, they were able to use a loophole relating to the territories of the nation which allowed them to regain control of the nation. The leader of the Micronational Banning Contract ended negotiations after failing a political takeover. Elijah declared themselves victorious in the war and political conflict that had followed.
The Three Day War
On October 19, 2022, The Micronational Banning Contract declared war on the Marxist Empire again. History
Elijah Winterville rules the Marxist Empire through a totalitarian dictatorship, in the role of Supreme Emperor. They were a former resident and Prime Minister of New Southland, and was somewhat of an advisor to the president, Marcus Barensky. They spent time in the military during their time in the nation, as well as starting a political party and becoming Prime Minister on two separate occasions. However, Elijah Winterville was not trusted by the leaders of New Southland, as they had led several failed rebellions and uprisings during his time in the country. They were also the head of a political party owning one of three political seats. After Marcus Barensky fled the country and Quinn Kompana took his place, Elijah Winterville began a rebellion named 'Viva La Rebellion.' After they began 'Viva La Rebellion', they renamed their political party from The National Elijah Winterville Party to The National Uprising Party in support of the rebellion. After Quinn Kompana fully took control of the country, Elijah Winterville and their partner Zachary Shell fled the country, starting their own nation, the Marxist Empire. They then began a war against New Southland, however, peaceful terms were eventually negotiated.
Personality
Elijah Winterville is described as being intelligent and cynical. They are known for having a dark sense of humour and acting in a rebellious matter. They are also quite forward thinking and progressive, especially compared to the residents of their former nation, New Southland. Elijah Winterville is an atheist.
Zachary Shell
History
Zachary Shell was the former Supreme Chancellor of The Marxist Empire, and now holds the Superior Governor position. He was also a former resident of New Southland, and was mostly involved in the political aspects of the nation. Originally, he led a political party running against Elijah Winterville within New Southland. He also became prime minister on two separate occasions. However, after the two decided to work together, they merged their political parties into The National Elijah Winterville Party. When Marcus Barensky fled New Southland, Zachary Shell joined Elijah Winterville in a rebellion, named 'Viva La Rebellion'. He followed Elijah Winterville when they fled the country after Quinn Kompana took control of the country, joining him in the creation of the Marxist Empire.

Zachary Shell is the opposite of Elijah Winterville, having a more compassionate personality. It is unclear how he and Elijah became friends and allies, but it somehow happened. He is also quite forward thinking and progressive. Zachary Shell is religiously unaffiliated.

Information
The National Political Alliance is an international and intermicronational organisation founded by the Marxist Empire on December 6, 2022. The NPA serves as an economic, militaristic and political alliance between member states, with the purpose of spreading political and ideological equality within the larger international community. There are currently three members within the NPA, consisting of the founding state and head of the alliance, the Marxist Empire, the Vassal State of New Southland and the Kingdom of Essizia. The NPA is governed by the Supreme President, Elijah Winterville, and as an extension of that, the Marxist Empire as a whole.
The main body of the National Political Alliance is the General Council, where all member states of the NPA can appeal to the Supreme President for internal changes. All member states of the NPA have an individual alliance with and mutually recognise all other member states of the organisation. Additonally, all member states of the NPA hold an economic, militaristic and political alliance with the NPA as a whole. All nations are welcome to join the National Political Alliance, as the goal of the organisation is to accept all beliefs and ideologies.
The National Political Alliance was founded by the Marxist Empire in order to spread political and ideological equality within the larger international community. The Supreme President of the NPA founded the organisation in response to the growing conflicts between different political ideologies among the international community. It is the wish of the Supreme President, Elijah Winterville, that all nations and people of the world can accept different ideologies, without widespread prejudice and conflict.
Membership
Membership within the National Political Alliance is divided into two categories; observer status and membership status.
Observer Status
For a state to gain observer status within the National Political Alliance, they must recognise the Marxist Empire as a nation. Additionally, they must recognise the NPA as an organisation, and support its goal. If a nation has met these requirements, they may apply to join the NPA as an observer state. If accepted by the Supreme President, they will become an observer state of the NPA.
Membership Status
For a state to gain membership status within the National Political Alliance, they must meet the following requirements;
- Mutually recognise all member states upon joining
- Hold an individual alliance with all member states
- Never have held negative relations with the Marxist Empire
- Never have participated in conflict with a member state, unless the member state in question further authorises their membership
- Sign an agreement with the Supreme President ratifying the NPA Charter within their nation, and granting their state membership status
If allowed by the Supreme President, a state may be granted membership status within the NPA.

Geography and Climate
The average annual temperature of the area is currently ranging from 15 to 35 degrees Celsius in a year, and the annual rainfall is 600 to 1200ml.
The Envis Capital Territory and the state of Corvis share similar geography and climate, as both are homesteads claimed by the Marxist Empire, and are completely landlocked by the Commonwealth of Australia. They also both share a similar dry environment. The Frostin Valley Territory and the Vassal State of New Southland share a hilly environment, mostly made up of coastal plant life and sandy ground, and the territory of Svalry has lush, green plains.
The total area of the Marxist Empire is approximately 58,942.67m²/ 0.058km².
States, Territories and Inferior States
There are currently five territorial claims of the Marxist Empire.
Envis Capital Territory
Envis is the capital territory of the Marxist Empire, and is the homeland of the nation. This is due to the fact that the Supreme Emperor and the government is situated there. Envis is where most official business gets conducted. The Envis Capital Territory has a population of three within the Marxist Empire. The Envis Capital Territory follows all national acts and laws without autonomy. The ECT completely borders the Commonwealth of Australia, as it is landlocked by it. Borders are enforced by the government and military. The approximate area of this region is 710 meters squared.
Frostin Valley Territory
The Frostin Valley Territory is located below and bordering New Southland, and is the largest region of the Marxist Empire. When the Marxist Empire and the Republic of New Southland were at war, small border changes occurred. However, upon the signing of an official alliance between the two nations, proper borders were allocated. The Frostin Valley Territory has a population of three within the Marxist Empire. The military of the nation is situated within this territory. Frostin Valley follows all national acts and laws without autonomy. The Frostin Valley Territory mostly borders the Commonwealth of Australia. The border with the Commonwealth of Australia is enforced by the government and military. The territory also borders the Vassal State of New Southland, which is an open border between the two regions of the Marxist Empire. The area of this region is approximately 57,445.28 meters squared, or 0.057 kilometers squared. Much like the Vassal State of New Southland, Frostin Valley is hilly and overgrown with mosquitoes and flies. The Frostin Valley Territory is landlocked, however, the beach is quite close and easily accessible.
State of Corvis
Corvis is the third region of the Marxist Empire, and is a state of the nation. This state is under the control of the former Supreme Chancellor, Zachary Shell, and has a population of three within The Marxist Empire. Corvis has been granted autonomous status within the Marxist Empire, however, all actions taken by the former Supreme Chancellor must be authorised by the Supreme Emperor, and his authority over the state is secondary to the Supreme Emperor and Supreme Advisor. The state completely borders the Commonwealth of Australia, and is completely landlocked by it. The area of this region is approximately 787 meters squared.
Territory of Svalry
Svalry is the fourth region of the Marxist Empire. It was annexed from the Commonwealth of Australia by the Marxist Empire, and is quite close to the ECT (Envis Capital Territory). Svalry is a territory within the nation, and follows all national acts and laws without autonomy. It has a population of three within the nation. Svalry shares an open border with the Commonwealth of Australia. The territory will act as a military base of the nation, and will be used as defense for the ECT and Supreme Emperor. The territory completely borders the Commonwealth of Australia, and is landlocked by it. The approximate area of this territory is 17,929 meters squared, or 0.017 kilometers squared.
Vassal State of New Southland
New Southland, officially the Vassal State of New Southland, is the fifth region of the Marxist Empire, and is the most recent territorial claim of the Marxist Empire. It is ruled by the Vassal President, Andrew Ongleburger. The Vassal State of New Southland was originally an independent nation, however, it was annexed by the Marxist Empire and eventually granted vassal status. New Southland has a population of nine within the Marxist Empire. When the Marxist Empire and the former Republic of New Southland were at war, small border changes occurred. However, upon the signing of an official alliance between the two nations, proper borders were allocated. The borders of the territory in the present match the borders decided in the peace treaty between the former Republic of New Southland and the Marxist Empire. The capital of the Vassal State of New Southland is Barensky Hill. The approximate area of the Vassal State of New Southland is 52,275.31 meters squared, or 0.052 kilometres squared. As the vassal state borders the Frostin Valley Territory, it's environment is quite similar to it, sharing it's hilly, overgrown appearance. The border with the Frostin Valley Territory is an open border, however, the rest of the territory borders the Commonwealth of Australia, which it has a closed border with. The Vassal State of New Southland is landlocked, however, the beach is quite close and easily accessible.
New Southland was originally an independent nation, however, it was annexed by the Marxist Empire after the former government of the former Republic of New Southland fell into inactivity. It was temporarily granted territorial status, however, it was eventually granted vassal status. The Supreme Emperor has begun appointing new leaders for the newly incorporated territory. The borders of the Vassal State of New Southland have been largely determined by the former government of New Southland, as well as the war between the Marxist Empire and the former independent nation. It holds mutual sovereingty over it's territory with the Marxist Empire, and holds a high amount of internal independence. However, it is externally represented by the Marxist Empire.

Economy
There is currently no official currency within the Marxist Empire. The standard is the Australian Dollar. The Supreme Emperor, Elijah Winterville, is planning for taxes to be at a similar rate to the Australian Government. The government is preparing to create a physical currency named the 'Marxist Dollar,' or alternatively, MD.
The economy of the Marxist Empire operates under a communist economic system, in which private property and goods have been abolished, and resources, capital goods and land are allocated as needed equally to the citizens of the Marxist Empire. The economy can be categorised as a command economy within a controlled market, as the government of the nation completely controls all aspects of the economy.
COVID-19
COVID-19 has not had a lasting impact on the Marxist Empire. There have been two recorded cases. Both have recovered.
Culture and Media
Currently, their is a small religious presence within the Marxist Empire, however, the nation as a whole is structured around atheism. The Supreme Emperor, Elijah Winterville, is an atheist, whilst the Superior Governor, Zachary Shell, is unaffiliated with any belief. The majority of the nation is atheist.
The Marxist Empire shares a similar culture to the Commonwealth of Australia, as this is the nation that the Marxist Empire declared independence from. However, there are small cultural differences from the Commonwealth of Australia, such as unique cultural meals. An example of this is the national dish, 'Gugsuwa Dubu,' a cultural meal made by the Supreme Emperor. Bladed weaponry is also a large part of the culture within the Marxist Empire, as the cutlass is the national weapon of the nation, and swords are a large ceremonial aspect of officials within the nation.
Media such as movies, television shows and video games are quite popular within the country. Books are well liked by the Supreme Emperor. The nation's YouTube channel serves as the national news outlet.
