Etymology

The Duchy of Bitty Ridge has a large amount of Spanish influence, so they decided to name their capital after the Spanish words for "my house".

History

Foundation

On 25 June 2019, the Royal Family of the Norfolk Empire officially declared independence from the United States of America. They sent the Declaration of Independence to the President of the United States of America, the Secretary of State of the United States of America, the Governor of Florida, the Governor of North Carolina, the Representative for Florida’s 15th Congressional District, the Representative for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the Representative for Florida’s 13th Congressional District, and the Pinellas County Administrator. After the multiple declarations of independence were sent to each of those individuals, the Royal Family of the Norfolk Empire signed the thirty article-long constitution of the Norfolk Empire. This constitution is currently being kept by HRH Prince Cooper Norfolk I in an undisclosed location so that the constitution will not be damaged.
