His Grace, Lord Michael Simpson MPH, MBA KOB CAO MV, is the Duke of Merania and the 1st Count of OcciBrazos in the Duchy of Taysha, under the Empire of Austenasia. He is the first Governor of Florencium Carolina and Austenasia's Consul in Texas. Among Lord Simpson's many titles and accomplishments are the Viscount of the Kingdom of Ladonia, Lord Baron of the Republic of Aquitane and Lord Baron of the Principality of Islandia. He is also a Commander of the Austenasian Order and a Knight of the Order of the Melting Mountain, Lord of Hougun Manor in Cumbria England, Lord of Kingsdale, Sanjay and of Chaol Ghleann in Scotland and Lord of Kerry in Ireland. He is also an Imperial Ambassador to Texas for the Empire of Europa and Kingdom of Lithuania under King Roman I and a member of the Asgardia, the Space Nation, and a member and a fine officer of the Starfleet International.

Non-micronational career

Lord Michael Simpson is a distinguished fellow being in several prestigious honour societies such as Epsilon Pi Tau (EPT), the International Honor Society for Professions in Technology, a national society scholar from the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS), Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars, Omicron Sigma Sigma (OSS) Chapter of the Order of the Sword and Shield Academic and Professional Honor Society, a member of the Order of the Golden Key International Honor Society (GKI), the Delta Beta Sigma chapter of Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) of the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP) under the Counselling Academic and Professional Honor Society International, and that of the International Distinguished Scholars (IDS).

Simpson was a non-commissioned officer (NCO) in the United States Army and was awarded several distinguished military awards such as the U.S. Army Achievement Medal (AAM), the U.S. Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM), U.S. Army Good Conduct Medal (GCM), the Professional NCO Medal, the National Defense Service Medal (NDM), the NATO Medal, and was deployed for peacekeeping missions in the Bosnia-Herzegovina region under the Operation Joint Forge and SFOR, and in the Republic of Korea. He is a combat veteran of the southwest campaign of the Iraqi War under the operations of Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He notably held positions of power and influence and commanded men and soldiers in combat operations in the support and defense of the United States, and was also at one point the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a technology services company named Amstrome Technology Services.

Micronational career

Lord Michael Simpson's micronational career started in the Empire of Austenasia under Emperor Jonathan I in 2020. He owns and governs several pieces of land in Scotland, England, and Ireland. Among his owned territories include Florencium Carolina and Procyon in Texas, and Elliessium Colorandum in Colorado. He also has lands in Utah which is named Rubrum Beryllium, and in New Mexico and Arizona.

Lord Simpson serves as a member of the Austenasian House of Representatives representing Procyon and is also the Governor of Florencium Carolina, Elliessium Colorandum, Golcondiaurum, and Rubrum Beryllium.
