Overturn GA status of Kermadecia

This article has since its approval as a Good Article gone through several revamps and major edits in accordance with the political changes going on in the nation itself; however, these edits were never completed (as there are now quite a few empty sections) and the last I heard, Suzuki has left the community, so I doubt these sections will be completed any time soon. The article is also outdated overall, and I don't feel we should have a Good Article which has had a "please update me" template on it since September 2017.   • OPPOSE Several one-sentence paragraphs, and contains a few unclear or poorly-worded sentences. I'm glad to see somebody using the date properly, though (26 April 2019 throughout, none of this "the 26th of April" stuff). There also seems to be some confusion under the Administrative Divisions section; it says that your towns are inhabited, but their articles say nobody lives there. The populations listed there also add up to 18, not the 16 as stated on the main infobox. Overall though, this isn't that bad; I just don't think it's "Good" good yet.     • REJECTED - Having had a closer look, the article has copy+pasted whole sections of the Empire of Austenasia article. I wouldn't even really mind except that it hasn't been edited to make it fit properly. For example, the Administrative Divisions table mentions "Associated Towns", which so far as I can tell are nothing to do with Ikonia (if they are, it's certainly not explained in the article).   • COMMENT I would say this is very well written so far. There are slight problems with the punctuation and grammar, however overall it’s a very good article.   • COMMENT The way some of the images are formatted, it creates large gaps of white space(especially in the first section). Also, you may want to consider removing some things that only have one peice of information (i.e., the "members of government" with only one person there.). Overall, very good article, but just needs some minor cleanup.

Also, there are some wiki-formatting things gone wrong - specifically, on the "Quebecois Autobahn". Instead of just putting "also see 'Road System of Quebec'", you could use the wiki formatting {{See also|Road system of Quebec}}. Overall, not bad, but it does need some work.

What I feel is a well-written, detailed page on a planned micronation.

  • SUPPORT It’s very well written, grammar is good, uses images correctly, and it goes into a lot of detail. It also using the correct date formatting, unlike half of all GA nominations. It’s near perfect, there are just some slight grammar errors. Although this is a personal preference, I would like to see some more links, and also rather than calling it a country, you could say micronation or nation for short, but this isn’t a requirement. Z. I've no idea why somebody's chosen this seemingly random page of theirs and qualified it for Good Article status. Not only does it fail on a lot of counts ("lots of pictures"? I think this article has finally reached a point where i can resubmit it, even if it is rejected again, i would much appreciate some constructive feedback to allow us to improve further.

  • OPPOSE ...for now. It's certainly improved, but there are still some notable issues in my opinion. First of all, the only pictures apart from the flag and maps are two stock images near the end; scrolling through the majority of the article just shows a wall of text with no images. Reading through the article, I've also noticed quite a few words that have been capitalised which I don't think really should have been: "Judicial Sentencing and Behaviour", "Rights and Freedoms", "Citizens", etc. Austenasia (talk) 07:14, 5 October 2019 (UTC)

I have taken on the advice previously offered and have removed much capitalisation and added some more images, I am very unsure what was meant by better formatting, it is set for what I was trying to achieve. So I think it will be rejected again but some more advice would be appreciated.

Reading in more detail, I also think there's an issue with - well, not so much bias per se - but a certain non-objectivity. For example, phrases such as "The Empire needs to make some efforts towards becoming more ethnically diverse" (says who?) and "the Empire of Lehmark is proud to..." aren't very encyclopaedic. An example of the latter being the "countless attempts for peace negotiations". Countless, in this situation, is a hyperbole and not wiki style word choice. About the formatting, your dates are fine the times, i noticed, needed some work where you improperly noted the time zone. With the grammar, I am more than willing to fix what you don't find.     • OPPOSE Not a bad article by any means, and I'm glad to see the feedback being taken on board! However, I still think there are some issues to be addressed prior to it being granted GA status. There are some minor formatting issues, such as small numbers being expressed numerically in prose ("2 weeks later", "0 secessionist movements"), and the section titles are super-large rather than the normal size (=Like this= rather than ==like this==). The full name of the nation being in the opening paragraph is a bit much to take in; I'd suggest making an etymology section. The History section mentions that "the Grand Republic defeated the Order of the Lotus" but gives absolutely no context or background as to what the Order is/was, why you were in conflict with it, or how you defeated it (if it's part of Etukan then that needs to be made clear). There's no need for the information in the Tequrovidea, Government, and State-Produced Films to be in lists or bullet points; normal paragraphs would suffice. I understand that some of the awards in the table in the Awards section don't have visual representations, but the incomplete table isn't great to look at; this could be solved simply by adding "N/A" to those which don't have a graphic. I still don't think the Nowellian section really explains why it's notable enough to have its own section on the nation's main page; a resolved Discord puzzle with not much information about it is being given the same importance as the nation's government. Lastly, in Diplomacy, some of the nations have flags and some don't, which I'm sure is easily fixable.
