The Military Order of Muhammad is one of the oldest and second highest award in the Athori honours system. It is awarded by the Monarch of Athor.
History
The order is one of the oldest in the nation. It was the second to be established and was formed on 23 December 2022 by Colin I
Grades
The order consists of 5 grades:
- Grand Cross
- Grand Officer
- Commander
- Officer
- Knight/Dame
Precedence
As the second highest award in the Athori honours system it ranks above all but one other award. It is typically worn above lower ranking orders.
Awarded For
The order is given for "Services in Areas of Government or Public Administration" and is issued by the Monarch. The Grand Mufti of Athor.
Eligibility
Due to the order being awarded for services in govt or public administration it is customary that the recipient is in government or the Armed Forces and as a result need to be Muslim. As well as this, Athori citizenship is needed.
