The Military Order of William Virtue is the 2nd Order (in line with the Royal Family Order of the Crown of Queensland), built to celebrate the 6th anniversary of Queensland Day by Queen Juliana VIII created it. Will be given to the royal family, foreign heads and people who benefit the nation

Regulations for the giving of decorations

The Military Order of William Virtue is the highest class insignia of the Kingdom of Queensland. The Bureau of the Royal Household has set a plan for delivering the Military Order of William Virtue as follows:

  • 1. The recipient of the Military Order of William Virtue must be a member of the royal family only.
  • 2. Military Order of William Virtue recipients must be 10 years or older.
  • 3. Who has received the Military Order of William Virtue from that foreign country The recipient must be the head of state only.
  • 4. Military Order of William Virtue in 1 year is limited to the grantor as follows
    • 4.1 The royal family must have at least 2 persons
    • 4.2 Queensland citizens who benefit the nation Must have a minimum of 5 people only
    • 4.3 Foreign head of state Must have a minimum of 4 people only

Divided into 2 stages:

  • 1. Grand Cross(GMWV) : Only the sash will be obtained.
  • 2. Grand Commander (GcMWV) : Hanging with ribbons around the neck and Star of Order.
  • 3. Commander (CMWV) : Hanging with ribbons around the neck.
