The Lord High Steward of The Commonwealth of Marie Byrd Land overseas the Sovereign's Lord Chamberlain Department and Holds the Rank of Grand Admiral with the positions of Chief of the General Staff of The Royal Armed Forces of The Commonwealth of Marie Byrd Land.

Responsibility and role

The Lord High Steward main role is supervising the departments which support and provide advice to the Sovereign of The Commonwealth of Marie Byrd Land. while also acting as the main channel of communication between the Sovereign and the grate Councils of The Commonwealth of Marie Byrd Land.

The office organises all ceremonial activity such as garden parties and state visits, to royal weddings and the State Opening of Parliament. They also handle the Royal Mews and Royal Travel, as well as the ceremony around the awarding of honours. The Minister for Crown has the Sovereign's right to act directly on the Sovereign's authority on matters of the Sovereign's desire.
