The Minister of Defence, also referred to as the Defence Minister, is a senior minister in the Government of Glorosia with overall responsibility for the Department of Defence. The office is a member of the Cabinet of Glorosia.

- Administer Aspects of the Armed Forces
- Oversight of Defence Intelligence
- Overseeing Relations with Defence Partners

History
The defence minister is one of the oldest cabinet postings in Glorosia. It was established as one of the first cabinet offices in the republic and was established on 28 January 2023.
Appointment
The defence minister is appointed by the President of Glorosia and serves at the president's pleasure. The National Assembly can also nominate candidates for office to the president.
