The Ministry of Justice is the Austenasian government body responsible for law enforcement and providing legal advice and services to the Government.
The Ministry of Justice has four main responsibilities. The first is providing legal advice to the various members and bodies of the Government. The second is supervising the running of the Austenasian Police. The third is providing prosecutors (and, under certain circumstances, defense attorneys) for any trials. The fourth is appointing and overseeing the Magistrates of the Empire.
The Ministry of Justice was established by an Act of Parliament on 4 April 2019. The Ministry is led by the Attorney General, a position which has been held since 9 December 2020 by Sir Anthony R Clark.
