MONARCHIST PARTY (NORTON) FLAG

The Nortonian Monarchist Party, also known by the acronym NMP, and also known colloquially as the Royalists, Royalist Party, or simply the Monarchists, is a federal political party in the State of Norton. Ideologically, the Monarchist Party serves as a big tent political institution, advocating for the transition of Norton from a Republic into a Monarchy. The party has elected 1 member to the National Senate.

Policies & Factions

The transfer of the State of Norton from a Republic to a Constitutional Monarchy is the party's principal goal. If they succeed, the monarch (Supreme Regent) will replace the President of the State of Norton as the ceremonial Head of State and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. Similarly, a Chief Minister would take the place of the Prime Minister of the State of Norton (although their governmental portfolios would be very similar).
