The Monarchy of Pavlov is the collective term for the Head of State of the Empire of Pavlov, his Consort, the Imperial Family, and the political bodies directly associated with them.

Powers

The powers of the Emperor are nearly absolute, which can also be seen in the Basic Law of the Empire. With passages such as "All power is to the Emperor", "The Monarch is sacrosanct and inviolable. He is above all secular laws, and may be judged only by God himself. Obedience to His authority, not only out of fear, but in good conscience, is ordained by God Himself." and "All power and sovereignty is derived from and held by the Monarch. All executive, legislative and judicial power is derived from and carried out in name of the Monarch." proving this notion.

The only restriction found in the Basic Law is that the Monarch must be a baptised trinitarian Christian. The Codex Alexandrus (compilation of the Codex Justinianus and Rouska Pravda) also contains some passages limiting the Monarch.

Line of succession

The position of Monarch is elective under the Basic Law to the descendants (incl. legitimized and adopted) of Alexander IV and wives of the last reigning Monarch.
