The Morrill State, more commonly known as Morrillia, is a micronation by the town of Gilford, NH in The New English Region. It was founded on the 23rd of October, 2021 after political disorganization. The Morrill State is unrecognized by all United Nations member states. Morrillia consists of 2 provinces and 2 territories overseen by the government and military. Morillia has a population of 8. Morillia is diplomatically Isolated, due to the lack of Micronations found in the states of New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont, but will always try to find any micronations nearby, but is open to any friendly micros.
Etymology
The Morrill State is named after the road the capital rests beside; Morrill Street.
History
The creation of The Morrill State was a possible answer to a concurring issue; The Neighborhood around Morrill Street is very inactive, and needed something to spark up interest. The Morrill State was formed to give all a sense of unity in the area, and feel proud about where they are now.

Early Government
Originally, there was to be no main leader at all, and instead was a confederacy of each home in the neighborhood. By the time the constitution was being written, it seemed inevitable that the confederacy idea wouldn't work. Instead, the founder took it up to himself and made it a Sub-Autocracy.
Prime Minister
The great leader of the State, currently led by Darren Brown, has all jurisdiction on both the law and the military, and has the final say on things. However, he doesn't control domestic ideals such as economics and agriculture. Any action by the PM can also be vetoed by the Cabinet.

The Cabinet is a collection of representatives from each province of the state. Currently, there are 4 representatives
Political parties
Morrillia is a One-Party State, where one party has majority rule over all others. For this state, there is only one other party, and it's reserved for the Dog minority.

Feline Guard
The Feline Guard on its foundation was an answer to crimes against Cats since the foundation of the Morrill State back in October. In late November, crime rates against cats have dropped to 0%, and the Feline Guard now had the role of protecting the state itself, and isn't allowed to do training outside of The Lakes Region (Gilford, Laconia, Meredith, Moultonborough). Today, The Feline guard continues to use its tried and true NP-01 (Adventure Force Nexus Pro) till this very day. Godspeed you protectors of felines!
