The National Assembly of the Republic of Aswington (Spanish: Asamblea Nacional de la República de Aswington), or simply, the National Assembly (Spanish: Asamblea Nacional), is the unicameral parliament in Aswington. It is responsible for the discussion, approval and enactment of laws, as well as discussing various issues of interest.

Composition

The National Assembly is actually composed of eight members. These are elected through a party-list proportional representation. The members of parliament serve a term of two years and may be reelected consecutively.
