The National Catholic League is a National Radicalist political party in the Kingdom of Scynja, headquartered in the Ö Autonomous Province. The party was founded in August 2022 originally as the satirical Racism and later Racism and Drinking Party. The party would rebrand itself as the National Front to create a sense of seriousness to it in November 2022. It is a branch of the Roscami party of the same name. Thomas Jacobs serves as the current leader of the National Catholic League.
History
The NCL was first founded in August 2022 as the Racism Party, a satirical party advocating for “social justice”. After the suspension of Praetor Dillion Fletcher for underage drinking, Thomas Jacobs jokingly declared the 2022 Fontasia-Roscamistan war over it. Standing with Praetor Fletcher, he renamed the Racism Party to the Racism and Drinking Party in late September 2022.
On 27 November 2022, Thomas Jacobs would rebrand the party as the National Front, formally ending its satirical nature, becoming a serious political party. He would design a flag and a logo for the party, and designated, and designate the hex colour “465CF5” as the party colour. It was also admitted to the Blue-Shirt International as an observer party.
In October 2023, the party was converted to a branch of the National Catholic League in Roscamistan.
Ideology
The party advocates for a National Radicalist Scynja, dominated by the High King and a few of the most influential politicians in the country. It also advocates for state control of the economy, and more power to counties.
Leadership
The National Catholic League, and by proxy the Scynn branch, is controlled by Thomas Jacobs as Paramount Leader.
