The National Party (Bauwer: Neitsjonal Parti) was a far-right political party in the Republic of Ethosia. The party endorses Orthodox Christianity, Ethosian nationalism, anti-Marxism, and Slavo-Nordicism, among other things.

History

On 23 February 2022, Taylor Cameron became a citizen of the Republic of Ethosia, and soon after established the National Party.

On 7 March 2022, the twitter account announced a bill to officially ban Mormonism and Jehovah's Witnesses. This bill proposal was met with backlash from Ethosian citizens, as they felt it was a violation of religious freedom. Certain members of the National Party defended the bill, with some pointing to the sexual abuse, certain practices, and cover ups that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Jehovah's Witnesses are allegedly known for.

On 10 March 2022, the twitter account of the National Party of Ethosia announced it would officially be creating a bill to ban Order of Nine Angles members from becoming Ethosian citizens, with the main argument pointing to the rampant sexual abuse of children that the Order of Nine Angles advocates for.

After the dissolution of Ethosia, the NPE officially reformed into a new nation called the Orthodox Empire of Scythium.

Policies

The National Party in Ethosia has been described as far right. They advocate for an Orthodox Christian state, as they believe all other forms of Christianity have been created to twist the name and images of Christianity and Christ. They are also described as nationalist, anti-communist, anti-Marxist, and anti-Globalist.

They also work to establish communications and alliances with other micronations, specifically far right states in the Cascadian, Alaskan, Scottish, Irish, and Welsh regions.

Symbolism

Flag

The flag of the National Party, according to their party leader, represents a supposed new era in Ethosia. The red representing the new era, and the blue and gold representing the colors of the Ethosia flag. The Orthodox Cross is also seen on the flag, representing the need to return to a supposed truer form of Christianity.
