The New Eiffel Anti-Smoking Party was a single-issue political party in New Eiffel, which at its peak won 4 out of 29 seats in the 2018 general election, making it the third biggest party in New Eiffel. The party succeeded in banning selling and buying cigarettes and tobacco, however smoking was still legal. After a long vacancy on leadership, the party was voted on April 2020 to be disestablished if no one claimed it; thus, it was officially defunct on 2 July 2020.

History

The New Eiffel Anti-Smoking Party was founded in response to an increasing demand in cigarettes inside New Eiffel. It gained popularity relatively quickly, especially after concerns that children may get addicted to smoking. They proposed banning cigarettes and selling tobacco products, which was voted upon in parliament, and successfully passed. Smoking was voted to remain legal however, after complaints from outside visitors. After late 2019, the leadership position became vacant, and as such the party was voted on April 2020 to be disestablished if no one claimed it; thus, it was officially defunct on 2 July 2020 after no one made claims to it and no mergers were accepted.
