New Lucia (Official Name: Autonomous Province of New Lucia) is an uninhabited and un-organised incorporated territory of the Kingdom of Salanda. The name New Lucia is taken from the Caribbean Country of Saint Lucia the reason for the name is that the rocks that make up the area of this territory come from Saint Lucia originally before their annexation by the Kingdom of Salanda. It was established on the 3 January 2022 and it is the smallest territory of the Kingdom of Salanda. The motto of New Lucia is ‘Let her inspire you’.
Reform into an Autonomous Province
After the passing of the Amendment to the Constitution of Salanda New Lucia gained a new status in the Kingdom of Solanda, as well as the provinces were completely new sorted as it was still unclear how the territories and the province would be administrated. According to the amendment, all existing autonomous territorys will be transformed into autonomous provinces. The rest of the territorys would be reorganized into the ''Suveste Crown Territorys''. According", this amendment made the autonomous provinces have the administrative power to manage their own law and government, medical assistance and the defence of the province.
For the moment, New Lucia open a new stage of their history and open the door to internal migration to the new citizcens of salanda want be part of New Lucia, the local Parliament is Empty until calling the election after reaching the minimal population to call elections for the local Tepoelan (Local Senate) of New Lucia.
