The Noreast Republic is a micronation created as an approach to a serious political crisis within the United States during the later half of the 2010s. The Noreast Republic declared independence from the State of New Jersey on 10 April 2019.

Etymology

The Republic is named after the geographical position relative to the United States, and the North American continent. The name also derives from the storm referred to as a Nor'easter.

History

The Noreast Republic declared independence from the State of New Jersey on 10 April 2019. The constitution of the Noreast Republic was published on 17 April 2019, reaffirming the Republic's independence.

Geography

The Noreast Republic is primarily temperate woodlands surrounding a large pasture.
